Rubber wristbands may give out information about your sex wishes!
What does the color of your wristband tell to your peers? Find out below!
A collection of rubber wristbands.
Rubber wristbands are worn mostly by teenagers. Lately, in the USA, many concerned parents caused a considerable alarm through e-mails arguing that their children wear these wristbands in order to inform their peers of what sexual favors they’re prepared to give.
Who set the trend?
The fashion was set by pop-divas in the 80s, such as Madonna and Cindy Lauper. Even before them, rubber wristbands were worn by punks as signs of rebellion against sexual conventions. Today, however, most people wear them without any (sexual) connotation and without the purpose of signaling anything – they became a popular accessory which is a must for all fashion-conscious people, especially for younger generations. Teenagers are usually not aware of what particular colors of their wristbands mean – if they are, it’s in most cases just a way of showing-off in front of their peers.

Violet wristband – anal sex or holding hands?
The meanings of rubber wristbands and their colors vary locally and can differ enormously from place to place. Somewhere a particular color will signalize a wish for an innocent hug whereas in another place the same color calls for an “urgent” fisting. Almost everybody agrees that black stands for “I want to have sex”. Blue wristband means
fellatio or erotic dancing (
go-go dancing style), green – cunnilingus or sex in nature, and sometimes just a hug. Transparent wristband also has extremely different connotations: either it means a hug or a provoking “whatever you wish for”. Orange color is a universal symbol for kiss, yellow for hug, sometimes for
analingus (the “official” color of which is brown).
Rainbow for different sex wishes?
Red (stronger than orange) means French kiss as well as oral sex or erotic dance, violet is for anal sex or
doggy style, or sometimes only for holding hands. Gold with glitters calls for wet kisses while silver means fisting. White stands for showing one’s breasts (or French kiss). Wristbands that glow in the dark signalize the use of sex toys, dildos and such. Pink stands for your extrovert nature and proneness to exhibitionism.
Rubber wristband games
Wristbands and their codes make sense when used to play different games. These games weren’t really invented by American teenagers, but by their older brothers or sisters who had a lot of fun playing them at Colleges in different fraternities and sororities. We invite you to read the rules of two of them, which will definitely make you want to have a wristband and sex, for that matter!
White is for a gay kiss.
Snatching a rubber wristband off somebody
One of the players chooses a rubber band (and a person) on the basis of color codes and pulls it off the other player’s arm. Using scissors, a knife or anything similar is strictly forbidden, you should rely on your strength and skills only! If the wristband is comes off successfully, the player is entitled to the sexual activity symbolized by the color of the wristband. We don’t need to stress that all players must agree to participate and define the meanings of colors explicitly beforehand.
Wristband knot
This game usually shows a man’s hand and finger skills which he is able to use to great advantage “down there”, between the lucky woman’s legs. A similar game for testing women’s oral skills exists too – knotting cherry stalks skillfully proves a woman’s oral capabilities. The player has to make a knot out of a torn rubber wristband by using one hand only – the other hand must be kept behind the back during the test. If a firm knot is made in no more than a minute, it earns him a right to demonstrate his skills further to his lady co-player. However, bear in mind that wristbands can turn out to be quite a dangerous way of proving your oral skills (they may get stuck in the throat and cause suffocation), so better stick to stalks!
