The government's internet child protection agency, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Agency (CEOP) has warned of an increasing number of teenagers adding links to the registered usernames that offer money in return for webcam sex shows. CEOP's chief executive Jim Gamble warns that any type of child prostitution involving teenagers under the age of 18 is illegal. It is penalised by jail sentence. The person watching such shows, in, as well as the teenager offering or selling them for money, risk prosecution.
