English authorities have warned of a growing trend - jailbait webcams.

Teenagers create a profile on a website (e.g. Faceparty) and it is not long  before they are  added among friends by unknown men and women. There are a lot of paedophiles among them, who want teenagers to strip and masturbate in front of webcams in return for money.

The government's internet child protection agency, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Agency (CEOP) has warned of an increasing number of teenagers adding links to the registered usernames that offer money in return for webcam sex shows. Most English teenagers refuse indecent offers, but the number of these jailbait webcams nevertheless grows from month to month.

16-year olds, and even younger teenagers, perform sex shows on these jailbait webcams on a daily basis. Webcams are very cheap and newer computer already have them installed. Teenagers  get paid for every show and the online transfer is made via the web bank PayPal, best known for its use on auction websites, such as eBay and other web shops. Teenagers can make up to £150 a week!

Teenagers who decide to earn money by selling online sex are called ‘camgirls’ and ‘camboys’. People who pay for teen sex frequently also offer money in return for real sex.

Jailbait Webcams - Warning

CEOP's chief executive Jim Gamble warns that any type of child prostitution involving teenagers under the age of 18 is illegal. It is penalised by jail sentence. The person watching such shows, in, as well as the teenager offering or selling them for money, risk prosecution.
