Is Anal Intercourse Reserved for Homosexuals?

Are homosexually oriented men really the ones to practice anal sex more than anyone else? The statistics show differently.

Many people believe that men who want to have anal sex are queer and that the "anal" inclination is something abnormal. Such views are deeply rooted in the minds of a great number of people. The connection between anal intercourse and homosexual orientation is definitely not as direct and clear-cut as the majority would like to believe. Anal sex is merely one of the existing paths to human sexual satisfaction – as vaginal sex or oral sex, and for the sake of variety we shouldn't leave it out completely.

It's interesting to note that it isn't true that all homosexual men practice anal intercourse. Instead, they may prefer oral sex and masturbation at the same time, or they just rub each other’s penises.

Linking the methods of sexual satisfaction with a specific sexual orientation is very narrow-minded. Sexual orientation doesn't determine the way in which people have sexual intercourse. The latter is determined by the individual's taste and physical, emotional and sexual attraction.

People of every sexual orientation fantasize about having anal sex. 25% of all heterosexual couples have had anal sex at least once in their life, and 10% of them have it on a regular basis. In most cases, it is men who suggest it.

A poll carried out on our website showed that 40% of men want to have anal sex, but their female partners don't want to try it. 20% of the surveyed women are afraid of anal penetration being painful. (Of course, the anus is also very sensitive in men.)

Stimulation of the prostate and the part around the anus offers pleasure to every man. The male G spot is nothing else but another name for the prostate. Why shouldn't you derive pleasure from it? It should be entirely your decision whether you are ready to take the advantage of or ignore a number of possibilities to enjoy what your body offers you. The decision for anal intercourse is a matter of every individual’s free decision and not of his or her sexual orientation.

Still, beware of the sexually transmitted infections that you can contract with this form of sexual intercourse. Some of them are: anogenital warts - condylomata acuminata, rectal inflammation – chlamydial proctitis, and rectal gonorrhoea, inflammation of the mucosa of the anus due to herpes simplex, fungal infections of the anus and the anal canal ... which obviously means you should be especially careful to use proper protection.
