Both Teenage Girls and Boys Crave for True Love
Research has shown that sixteen year old boys aren't wild hormone machines who think of sex all the time. This will calm down even the most protective fathers, who guard their teenage daughters like the apple of their eye.

Fathers, you don't have to lock up your sixteen-year-old daughters. A survey, carried out among American students, proves that teenage boys don't consider dates as the opportunity for sex. On the contrary, love and a relationship which can develop are the reasons which motivate American teenage boys for going on a date.

Psychologists from the New York University surveyed more than 100 boys of average age of 16. Psychologists assigned the following task to the teenagers: list the main reasons due to which you have decided to date a girl, have a relationship with her and have sexual relations with her. Most teenage boys already had a date and 40% of them were sexually active.
The physical attraction to the girl wasn't the main answer to the above questions. Over 80% of the teenage boys included in the study said it was the personality that they liked in a girl. Appearance and a desire for getting to know a girl better were the most common reply.
Stereotypes can be quite out of tune with reality. (jlp)
Among sexually active teenage boys, lust and interest in what it is like to have sexual intercourse were among the three most frequent reasons for deciding to have sexual intercourse. Along with these two replies, in general the participants said they had decided to have sexual intercourse because they loved their girls.
Interesting enough, only 14% of teenage boys said they had decided for sexual intercourse in order to lose virginity. 9% of them responded that they had decided to have sexual intercourse to ensure their equal status among their friends.
A monitoring research among South African teenage girls and boys produced similar results. Scientists and psychologists from all continents agree that the results of research are very different from the stereotypical image of a teenager, who is supposed to be only interested in having sex and not in a relationship.
