That's a very common question among men. The research at the Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois showed that men can be quite exact in deciding for one or the other woman's feature and whether the features should be small or big. They also discovered the connection between the anatomic choice and personal characteristics of men.

What sort of men are attracted to big breasts?

Men who are extrovert, manly, like sport, smoke or men that have a lot of contact with women are typically attracted to women with big breasts. Men who drink less, are religious, tend to be depressive or subordinate in a relationship, prefer women with small breasts. The principle of Freudian psychology that ''oral'' personalities or men that are very dependable by nature, are attracted to big-breasted women, is therefore proven as wrong. Other researches also showed that dependent, subordinate men rather choose women with small breasts.

Attraction of face features

Men are attracted to face features that are distinctively female: fuller lips, soft and smooth skin, thinner eyebrows. Big eyes are also an advantage. An interesting experiment was conducted: men were shown two photos of the same girl and they had to choose which one is more attractive. On one photo her eye pupils were dilated but only few of them spotted the difference. Nevertheless, most of them choose the airbrushed photo. It is known that the pupils dilate when a person is watching something that he or she is attracted to.

The importance of looks to women

The expression in the eyes is also stimulating to women but it doesn't necessarily show arousal or excitement. Women are more attracted to other male features. A survey was conducted where they asked 100 men which male characteristics are the most attractive to women and the same question was also answered by women. The first four male characteristics were completely different to those of women. Men's opinion was that women like muscular chest, shoulders and arms, a big penis and considerable height. Women decided for a small butt, slenderness, flat belly and the eye expression. Muscular body and penis were almost at the end of the list. It would be interesting to know what kind of eye expression women are most attracted to but no research was conducted yet. We can assume that a look full of sexual desire, let it be admiring or pining, is not so attractive to women. Women are more attracted to a look expressing kindness, sensitivity, playfulness and sincerity.

Popular newspapers and magazines often write about what arouses women and men. Psychologists who are studying the rules of sexual attraction agree that the tastes are different but the answers about what is attractive and not are mostly the same.
