His penis was cut off - Definitely more than he bargained for

This 61 year-old man went to a hospital where they were supposed to take some off the foreskin on his penis off because he had some health problems. But when he woke up from anaesthesia, he could not find his penis with a new outlook in his pants. There was only an empty space. His penis was cut off in the procedure.

The doctors decided to do the amputation on the spot, when, during the process of circumcision, they discovered the patient had cancer, even though the patient only agreed to have his foreskin removed.

His penis was cut off - Now he's suing everybody

The plaintiff’s lawyer said the penis was cut off after the cancer was found, but that doctors only had consent to remove the foreskin: "Sometimes you have an emergency and you have to do this, but he could very easily closed him up and said, 'Here are your options. You have cancer,' and the family would have said, 'We want a second opinion. This is a big deal.'"

The afflicted patient is now suing the hospital, and also the doctor and the anaesthetist who were involved in the procedure. The procedure supposedly caused severe emotional problems to the patient and he supposedly also lost the will to live when his penis was cut off.

The doctor who performed the surgery is not giving any public statements at the moment.
